Our Team

Sara oversees all of the practices in the group to ensure they are delivering the quality services our patients expect. She works with each of the practice managers in their day to day roles of practice management.

Sara is also a fully qualified dental nurse and can sometimes been seen covering for staff absence in the surgery, nursing or on the reception welcoming patients to the practice.

Sara firmly believes that all team members should be willing to ‘roll up their sleeves and do whatever is necessary to ensure we provide a continuous quality service to our patients’.

Anne-Marie has been at Expressions Dental Care since 2003.

She started off as a receptionist and has progressed with her career to become Group Practice Manager and is responsible for the day to day running of the practice.

Anne-Marie is dedicated to providing excellent customer service and strives to ensure you receive the best possible care in a warm and friendly environment.

She monitors the continuing professional development of all staff members and ensures we stay compliant with all government bodies.

Outside of work Anne-Marie’s time is mostly spent with family and friends, enjoying going out and visiting new places.

Zahra qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2014. The following year she won the best regional audit for Health Education East midlands. Zahra is known to her patients for being a caring and gentle individual, helping patients overcome their dental anxiety and providing them with the utmost care.

Zahra is dedicated to ensuring her patients love their smile and therefore offers various cosmetic treatments such as teeth straightening, bonding and whitening.

​Outside of work Zahra is a professional hair and makeup artist and loves doing henna. Zahra also enjoys going to the gym and spending quality time with her family.

Imani qualified from the University of Birmingham and is currently a member of the British Association of Dental Therapist. Imani has worked in various sectors of dentistry over the last 8 years, starting off as a Dental Nurse back in 2016 before going on to train as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist.

Imani’s goal is to help patients achieve optimal health with comprehensive care plans, tailored to everyone’s needs and Imani aims for every patient to feel that they receive the highest quality care and treatment, with their best interests at heart.

Outside of work, Imani enjoys healthy eating, working-out, going on holiday, reading and spending some quality time with friends and family

Binyamin qualified as a Dentist from the University of Birmingham and went on to practice in general surgery in Derby.

During this time, he has gained knowledge and experience within general practice, and has treated many nervous patients who now feel at ease when coming for their treatments. He is keen to build good relationships with patients so that he can make visits to the practice as pleasant as possible.

In his free time, Dr Haider plays the piano at a grade 3 standard. He does Tae Kwon Do and has achieved a black belt. Dr Haider also enjoys sports like running and badminton.

Gemma joined the practice back in 2005 as an apprentice.

After gaining the National Certificate in Dental Nursing in 2007. She worked closely with the dentists for many years.

She then moved into her role as the practice treatment co-ordinator.

Gemma works closely with all members of the dental team, and our new and existing patients.

In May 2024 Gemma became our CQC Registered Manager and is responsible for practice compliance and making sure that people who use our service have their needs met.

Laura qualified from Cardiff University Dental School in 1998 and is a member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy with almost 25 years experience!

Laura is dedicated to providing excellent quality dental care focusing on the prevention and treatment of gum disease (periodontitis)

She has completed advanced courses in periodontology to ensure that the latest techniques and developments are always adhered to.

Laura has also undertaken a course in tooth whitening and facial aesthetics.
